Profile
Kevin Turner is recognized nationally as one of the top producing commercial brokers in the country. Mr. Turner recently completed extensive studies in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management through CSULB’s Center for International Trade and Transportation. After 550 hours of studies, Mr. Turner now has the professional designation of “Global Logistics Specialist.” Mr. Turner is now fluent in all phases of strategic logistics planning, transportation analysis, time in transit studies, near shoring analytics, third party solutions, compliance measures, work force solutions, trade agreements, inventory optimization, customs, ocean, air and intermodal analysis, freight forwarding and NVOCC selection, legal issues, goods movement policies, and greening the supply chain. Mr. Turner is now on the academic staff at CSULB as an instructor in the GLS-CITT program.

As an Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield, Kevin Turner specializes in the sale, lease, and tenant representation of office, industrial and R&D properties. Kevin Turner is highly experienced and qualified in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, financial and market analysis, site selection, lease evaluation, multi-tenant evaluations, facility counseling, land development transactions and sale and lease negotiations. Mr. Turner published “Effective Strategies for Site Selection”. The document was endorsed at World Workplace and Facility Forum by IFMA. (International Facility Managers Associates).

Career Summary

Kevin is credited with being the largest Industrial square footage producer in the Country.  Kevin has leased or sold more than 16,000,000 square feet of property nationally in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington as well as internationally in Calgary and Toronto, Canada, Monterrey, Mexico, and Shanghai, China.  In addition, his team has become the Number 1 Producing Land Sales Team with over 160 acres sold in 2003-2007 and Number 1 Producer in “For Sale New Building Developments in Orange County, CA”.

Kevin has been the exclusive landlord marketer for The Irvine Company – Irvine Spectrum Land Sales, Walton Capital (WCV), Blackstone (IndCor Properties), The Koll Company, Kilroy Realty, Equitable Investment Property Trust, RREEF, Crown Associates Realty, Werdin Development, Sanderson J. Ray, JMB Heitman, PM Realty Advisors, Centra Realty, Layton-Belling & Associates, United Bank of Switzerland, Haseko (California) Inc., Altair Investments, Canon USA Properties and Schiffman Enterprises.  In December 2002, Kevin’s team was appointed by The Irvine Company as their exclusive broker to market their commercial land portfolio in the Irvine Spectrum.  Highlights include closing 325 transactions totaling 3,200,000 S.F. with a transaction volume in excess of $600,000,000; 79 transactions in 2005 with transaction volume eclipsing $170,000,000; in 2006, 73 transactions totaling $184,000,000; in 2007, 61 transactions totaling $131,000,000; in 2008, 110 transactions totaling $125,000,000; in 2009, 81 transactions totaling $55,000,000; 2010: Represented GE Capital, Bank of America and US Bank in $25,000,000 of Distressed Asset Sales; 74 transactions totaling 953,000 square feet $48,000,000 in consideration; in 2011, 31 transactions totaling $71,000,000 in consideration, including the largest industrial lease in Orange County; in 2012, 36 transactions totaling $57,090,404 in consideration; in 2013, 34 transactions totaling $71,000,000 and 760,000 square feet in consideration; in 2014, 45 transactions totaling $68,517,706 and 817,254 square feet in consideration; in 2015, 23 transactions totaling $69,000,000; in 2016, 18 transactions totaling $74,000,000. 2017 (15) transactions totaling $189,000,000.00.

Land Sales
Negotiated, on behalf of The Irvine Company, 53 developer and user lot sales totaling 161 acres with a combined value in excess of $160,000,000 – largest land sale program in Orange County.  Result: $1,689,000 square feet of additional square footage. 41.72 acres, Perris, CA, represented seller Optimus, sold to Western Realco $18,000,000 and 68.48 acres represented Optimus selling to Rockefeller for an aggregate total of $28,750,280; $46,850,280 resulting in 2,350,000 SF of modern logistics warehouse development.

Added value of $25 Million in land sale revenue by identifying a need, initiating a zone change process and using a managed bid process to sell 16 acres of medical land over a 12-month period in 2007.

Office
Negotiated largest office transaction in 2017 in Orange County by and between Angelo Gordon & Company and Behr Process Corporation 230,000 SF over 15 years.
