ORANGE COUNTY’S KEVIN TURNER HAS A MOONLIGHTING GIG: HE’S A SPORTSCASTER
Our People - 4/2/19

Orange County’s Kevin Turner recently appeared as the play-by-play announcer for the San Diego Fleet and Memphis Express football game in Tennessee, wearing a Cushman & Wakefield hat.

Kevin, who has been in the broadcasting business for years and has a Southern California Cable Emmy Award, was contacted by iHeartRadio and Fox Sports to see if he would call the game. He said yes.

“Next thing you know, I was on the team charter to Memphis!” he said.

In addition to being one of Orange County’s top industrial brokers, Kevin has always loved sports and has been moonlighting as a sportscaster for years, juggling his two passions with an abundance of energy.

He got his first radio and television gig during the same week he entered commercial real estate. As a former Division I football player, Kevin wanted to stay in the game, so in his free time, he turned his focus to broadcasting, working for outlets such as XTRA Sports 690, Time Warner, and Cox Communications. This is Kevin’s 31st consecutive year broadcasting games and it doesn’t look like he will be slowing down any time soon. >>View Full Article
